Well-established and reputable RV dealership is currently looking for an experienced Warranty Writer. The successful candidate will oversee all activities concerning warranty processing and will promptly submit manufacturer and after-market warranty claims and the resulting collection of all warranty revenues. This position is important to the overall cash flow and  profitability of the dealership and we need a detail-oriented individual who can manage warranty processing effectively. The successful person will have a professional appearance, outstanding customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication.

Job Responsibilies/Requirements

• Check in new units from Manufacturer for delivery damage as well as factory damage.
• Fill in DAF and download to Manufacturer or email, depending on their process.
• Provide estimate of damages where neccessary, working with Parts & Service departments.
• Submit for authorization on repairs where required.
• Review and authorize parts ordering cards for warranty parts and submit for authorization when needed. When approved, update work order status and deliver signed cards to Parts.
• Work with Technicians in getting pre authorizations when required.
• Communicate with manufacturer on warranty claims and get approval for each claim.
• Communicate with Service department on the status of the warranty claim.
• Review every warranty repair for completion, accuracy and legibility.
• Have a valid driver's licence
